Niagara is a unique and highly respected wine destination. International visitors prize the Ice Wine made at our wineries. Niagara wine makers are often honoured for the quality of the varietal red and white wines made from Canadian-grown grapes. There are now 25 wineries located in Niagara-on-the-Lake with the addition of Vignoble Rancourt in mid-2006 and Southbrook Winery in early 2007. Many of our wineries have restaurants featuring great food paired with great local wines.
