General Description
Woodbourne is a newly restored and historically designated 1839 home which has been in the Woodruff family for seven generations. Most of the furnishings in this virtual museum are original family pieces.
The Victorian guest wing has a separate entrance, spacious drawing room and 11 foot ceilings. Each room has a printed history of the room and its pictures
All bedrooms have an ensuite bath, antique furnishings and Persian carpet. A TV is provided in lounge.
Fresh allergen free air is constantly supplied by our ventilation system. Central air conditioning.
A full, hot breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:00 am which includes: juice, fruit, yogurt, cold cereals, hot main course, tea, coffee and home made jams.
A self guided tour of the grounds is available so that guests may identify the various shrubs and exotic trees. Visit our horses and Westie Terriers. There are extensive gardens with native plants, herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruits
Located halfway between Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake, Woodbourne is a 14 minute drive from both and in the midst of the Niagara wine region. We provide menus from the numerous nearby restaurants.
Children are welcome by prior arrangement.
We accept Cash or Travellers Cheques.

Breakfast
We serve a full, hot breakfast.
Organic and local ingredients are used whenever possible. These include our own homegrown veggies and fruits and we make use of the bountiful crops of the Niagara Region.
Our eggs are free-range and home baking is done daily.
We can cater to special diets.
We offer free-trade coffee and roast it in our kitchen. We also serve a variety of teas.

Local Attractions
Just minutes away you can watch ocean freighters negotiate the locks of the Welland Canal, tour Queenston Heights Battlefield and climb Brock's Monument, visit Laura Secord's home and William Lyon MacKenzie's printery, take in all of the attractions that world-famous Niagara Falls has to offer, ride horseback down a country lane, tour the many wineries located throughout the area, spend a day in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the prettiest town in Canada, were you can attend the Shaw Festival or visit the Pillar and Post, the beautiful gardens, the antique stores, buy Niagara fruit, shop in the many unique boutiques, dine in the wonderful restaurants, walk by the lake or enjoy a picnic lunch there, visit Fort George as well as many other sites nearby and then return to our quiet bed and breakfast to just relax on the patio.

Directions
From Hamilton, take QEW through St. Catharines. After Garden City Skyway, exit for Niagara-on-the-Lake ( Exit 38 B ) Turn right at 2nd light onto York Road. Go 5 km to 4 way stop & turn right onto Four Mile Creek Rd. Go 1 block to Warner Rd. and turn right. We are on the left corner. Turn left into our driveway.
From Buffalo, cross The Peace Bridge to Ft. Erie and take QEW. Pass through Niagara Falls. After Thorold Stone Rd., exit & turn right onto Mountain Rd. Turn left at 2nd light onto St. Paul which becomes 4 Mile Creek Rd. Go 1 1/3 miles. We are on left on the corner of Warner Rd and Four Mile Creek at number 214.
